Adding a cute puppy to the family can be an exciting time in life for any family. However what do you do when your puppy begins to bite everything that he/she can reach? If they continue to do it then grasp him by the collar and look into his eyes while telling him NO. You need to realize that your puppy has submissed to you when they roll onto their back. This will get them to become calm and submissive and they will stop with the behavioral problem.
They will usually stop biting at this point; however if for some reason they still continue the habit. It is time to put them in their kennel and give them time to calm down. This will let them understand that if they act like this they will have to be alone in their kennel for a while. They will not like this and they will whine for a while because dogs love the company of humans. However if you put them in the kennel while they are doing the action you are trying to stop they will understand this and they will stop doing it because they will understand that if they do it, they will be punished.
One thing to remember is that you never want to hit your puppy. Your puppy will begin to become extremely fearful of you.
