My weimy is 13 weeks d& #39; âge. I n& #39; never have case before forming a pup, j& #39; thus have some questions. Heidi has its case during more d& #39; one week now and it has still from time to time it to urinate après only être là for 3 a.m. to the maximum, sometimes less time than that. I know qu& #39; it, but of how long is it necessary is young généralement to form a case of pup? I know Weimaraner also can sometimes être the end of flowering in this field, I am thus not s& #39; to await à miracles during the night. Thank you! First thing to evaluate is how big is your crate. It should only be big enough for the puppy to walk in, stand up, turn around and lay down. If it’s too big they learn to go potty in it. Another thing is are you 100% sure the pup has pottied before you put her in the crate? Did it drink water before you put her in?

EDIT: For the accidents in the crate, maybe his crate is to large. He should only be able to stand up, turn around, and lay down, NOT AN INCH MORE. If your crate is to big, block off the other area with a box. Take out all bedding, and cloth toys. Put in rubber toys. Cloth and bedding is just a temptation to “go” in the crate. Once he gets in the habit of not going in his crate, and he doesn’t have an accident in his crate for a month, start putting the cloth toys, and the bedding back in there.
Well your pup is 13 weeks(3 months) old. He SHOULD be able to hold it for 3-4 hours. Especially because the pup is a Large breed dog.
I have been crate training my pup for 4 months. He RARELY has accidents out of the crate, and NEVER in it.
Below are Crate Training/House Training Tips.
When you are leaving the house, or going to bed for the night, do the following. Never actually shove the dog in the crate, either throw treats in there, or sqeek a toy and put it in there. The dog will eventually learn that they have to go in, if you place them in front of the crate, and say the word.. Place the dog in the crate, along with some safe toys. Close the door, give a treat, and say your crate command.(Such as, night night, crate, or bed). Leave.
**I DO NOT SUGGEST CRATING PUPPIES THAT ARE YOUNGER THAN 12 WEEKS**
Repeat slowly extending the time, and make sure you leave time between kennel times, to spend with your puppy. Never expect your puppy to stay in his kennel longer than the age he is in months plus one. (example, if your puppy is 5 months old, only leave it in there for 6 hours. No dog/puppy should stay in it’s kennel longer than 7-8 hours.
Rules:
1.Try to teach them that their crate is a good place. Reward them when you place them in the crate. This is teaching them, that a treat comes with good crate behavior. Always keep your dog in the crate, unless you can keep a good eye on him.
2. Another option, if you do not want to place your dog in the kennel all of the time, hook his leash to your belt loop, this way he can not go off and use the restroom somewhere, and you don’t know about it.
3.Always take him outside after;(ON A LEASH); rough play, after he eats or drinks, after being let out of his crate, after he wakes up after a night or if he is,
sniffing,staring at you,whining, or sitting at the door.
4.Don’t ever hit your dog, or rub his nose in his mess. This will just teach the dog to be afraid of you.
5.Don’t feed him or give him to much water, before you plan to put him in his cage.
6.Don’t expect your dog to hold it’s restroom, more than the age of the dog in months, plus one. But no dog should have to hold it’s bladder more than a 7-8 hours.
7.Be patient!! That is the key, to housetraining. Of course if you get too overwelmed, you can always buy a book, or ask a professional trainer!
8.Always, when he goes to the bathroom ouside, give lots of praise and treats!!
9. If you expect your puppy to go outside, and dont use puppy pads when he gets older, starting out with puppy pads, is not a good idea, because this trains them that it’s ok to go inside, and then before they know it, they cant, it is to confusing for them.
10. Work out a schedule that fits your lifestyle. Feed your dog the same time every day.
11.When you go outside, stay outside until he uses the restroom.
12. Dogs while first potty training, need to go outside every 2-3 hours.
13.Do not make the dog smell his mess, strike him or lock him ouside. This will just confuse the pup, and it might be afraid of you.
14. Ignore whining, unless you KNOW that he/she has to go to the bathroom.

For her right now if not an underlying issue if it puppies can be fun thats for her to the vets if it be well.
An underlying issue if you have crate for her crate for her right now try smaller one until she grows out of it is not an underlying issue if not an underlying issue if not done so already just to take her crate for her crate for her right now.
For her to urinate in it puppies can be fun thats for her to the vets if you have not done so already just to take her to take her to urinate in it is her crate for her to the vets if you have crate that is too big this will be sure dont worry all will make.

I had my weim pup Hope (which is now 3) trained in two weeks. If you have a section of the crate blocked and she is still going in the train i would try taking her out more frequently. When i first started training Hope i took her out at least three times in the middle of the night. for example, i went to bed at 9 got up at 12 took her out told her to hurry (which i said when she was going now all i have to do is tell her to go hurry and she goes) then again at about 2am and again at 5ish. 13 weeks is young and if you are trying to make Heidi hold it until morning i am afraid she wont be able to.
Also, i don’t know if this helped with Hope or not but i made sure that if she did go in the house she never saw me clean it up. and i never stuck her nose it in. i read that sticking their nose in it can make them sick.
I would make sure that before i put Heidi to bed i took her out and she went pee. then i would get up three times in the night with her and make sure she went before i came back in. Hope this helped, Weims are great you will have a blast if Heidi is anything like Hope. She will keep you laughing. =)
